San Francisco Summer Resource Fair

Richard Carranza, superintendent of SFUSD, promotes Summer Resource Fair

March 8, 2016

Richard Carranza, the superintendent of the San Francisco Unified School District, promoted the San Francisco Summer Resource Fair in an article in the SF Examiner today. Here is an excerpt:

Summer is the most difficult time to ensure their children have productive things to do. The joy of learning doesn’t end when school lets out, but finding safe places for kids to learn all summer can be daunting. Who has the time to find all of the programs and camps and outings for kids this summer?

At the Summer Resource Fair, families can meet representatives from more than 200 organizations that provide summer camps and classes. Come and find some fun things for your kids to do over the summer months at this free event, co-sponsored by the Department for Youth, Children and their Families, Recreation and Park, and the San Francisco Unified School District.

San Francisco Summer Resource Fair
Saturday, March 12 (10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.)
Pier 70, 2240 22nd St.
