Creative Ways to Solicit Youth Input
January 17, 2016
This manual from Public Profit presents new ways to solicit youth feedback about summer learning programs and education in general.
Program assessors typically rely on surveys, observation and tests to determine the efficacy of programs and curriculum. However, each of these methods have drawbacks when dealing with youths and may not give assessors the breadth or quality of feedback they desire.
This manual looks at the challenge of soliciting feedback from youths and suggests new ways to surface data for quality assessments.
The manual has two parts:
- Part 1: outlines a process you can use to plan your evaluation questions
- Part 2: lists detailed instructions for several activities you can use to solicit youth feedback.
Download the manual to explore planning concepts and develop a more diverse set of tools for collecting and analyzing youth feedback.
